Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Sabi Sabi Selati Location Map

Imagine the Africa of the great safari era, when blazing sunsets melted into lantern lit romance and service was an effortless whisper. This is the unforgettable Sabi Sabi Selati experience, beautifully located on the banks of the Msuthlu riverbed.

The world-renowned Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is located in the game-rich Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Highly trained and experienced rangers and trackers ensure that your African safari experience ranks amongst the best in the world and you can look forward to special close-up experiences on every safari drive with Africa's wildlife, including the Big 5.

Selati Camp is the most unforgettable of all African experiences. Originally created without electricity to preserve the ambience, Selati Camp now has overhead fans and air-conditioning, while the camp is still lit at night by the gentle flicker of oil lamps, the warm glow of fires and the spectacular canopy of the Southern night sky.

An historic railway theme extends throughout, from original steam engine name plates, signals and other memorabilia in the lounge, to collector's pieces in each room.

This intimate camp has just 5 luxury thatched suites, each with a full en-suite bathroom  and private alfresco shower. The secluded Lorenco Marques suite is the perfect sanctuary for those looking for privacy and has a private garden and deck overlooking the waterhole. The camp's premier accommodation is the sumptuous and spacious Ivory Presidential Suite which offers colonial grandeur, a private pool and a private vehicle for safaris.

Home-cooked cuisine is served on decks built over the river bed, in the open air boma under the spectacular night sky, or in the traditional farmhouse kitchen.
