Never having been on safari before,I did not know what to expect but Woodbury Lodge was superb. We had a wonderful time there.

We had a wonderful time in SA. The accommodation was perfect in terms of variation and quality of experience. Everyone was very welcoming and Angie wanted to bring Bradley, the Cullinan concierge home with us, his manner and service were second to none. A township tour was an exceptional and educational experience to be recommended. Amakhala was great, we had a really knowledgeable and patient ranger with a wicked sense of humour in Jamie and the food was excellent. All in all a thoroughly great experience so thank you for all your help, I will recommend Travel Butlers to anyone I know who might wish to go to SA.

Our tracker/ranger Kyle was a natural gem and was a wealth of information and knowledge. The little shop could have been better stocked with small (beaded) souvenirs for purchase. The atmosphere and setting was perfect, the rooms were roomy, appropriately decorated and very comfortable. I could even watch the giraffes in the distance from the bathtub! The food was excellent, very tasty and plenty of it. All the inclusions made it a stress free time and the smallness of the lodge meant that we felt more like it was our home too. I would definitely return, and recommend to others!

Everything at Woodbury was great. Ranger was brilliant, food was very good and very plentiful. We couldn't fault anything apart from the elusive cheetahs! Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Woodbury Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our ranger, Tim, was extremely knowledgeable. There is a very good chef on site and the meals were wonderful. Oh yes, the weather was perfect and animal sightings were plentiful.

We had a fantastic holiday thank you, so much so that I now want to emigrate to South Africa! Woodbury Lodge was perfect, we were totally spoilt and seeing the animals up close was amazing. Thank you for organizing the trip for us.

Just a short note to thank you for all the help you gave us in organising our holiday to South Africa recently. We both agree that it was very special and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, pity it had to end so quickly! Fiskaal Rd was excellent and extremely friendly but Woodbury Lodge was truly magnificent and we found everybody very welcoming and most hospitable! We have already recommended you and your company to many friends and colleagues and of course we will certainly be in touch when we need help with our next trip, however that may be a couple of years hence!! Once again many thanks for all your help and advice.

We had a great time at Woodbury Lodge, it was just what we had hoped for, and the staff went out of there way to accomodate our needs with the children. I would highly recommend the place for kids. We were initially told that all meals would be together with other guests which we were fine with, but as Emily (6yrs) and Tom (9yrs) had done the early morning drive and the evening one to 7.30 pm, the staff arranged a separate meal for the kids (which was not a regular service at the lodge) as they were tired out. Judy (ranger) also decided to do a drive working around the kids needs, ie taught the kids how to track animals by looking at the footprints, and spent time talking to them about the plants, colour of soils, etc ... We ended up having her to ourselves, and the kids learnt so much (they have been on a mini safari before), but this safari was less touristy and more of a personal service. The big bonus was seeing cheetah and some cubs which was a rare occurance!!! The accomodation was outstanding with lots of little extras ie a bottle of wine left each night on our pillow, with chocolates!! We intend to go back there again in 18 months time, as the game reserve with spectacular mountainous scenery, rivercruise and bush drives were breathtaking. Thank you for your efficiency and guidance/advice with arranging the safari and we will be in touch next time when we come out to Africa.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help and advice with our arrangements for our SA trip over Christmas. We had a fantastic holiday, and the icing on the cake was the bush walk at Amakhala Woodbury on our last morning that you arranged as a special addition. What a way to finish!

Many thanks for your help with organising our recent holiday to South Africa it was fantastic. All travel arrangements flowed like a dream and the accommodation was superb everywhere, to be highly recommended. Whales were abundant which was the foremost highlight for me and the Dyer Island cruise well wothwhile despite us seeing numerous whales from land close up to shore. The children loved the safari (Woodbury Lodge)and our hosts exceeded the expected hospitality by far. Only the elusive cheetah wasn't playing the game! But the elephants more than made up for his shyness. Anyway, many thanks to you, you did a marvelous job and I would recommend your services highly to anyone, I shall be looking you up for next years trip for sure we just have to decide where is next on the map!
