Luxury 2 Weeks in South Africa

Summary Of The Route and Costs

On this holiday you'll go on an unforgettable safari in the Kruger National Park, tracking wild animals deep into the bush. You'll also drive the famous Garden Route and stay in a stunning treetop suite within an easy drive of all the main attractions here. After that you'll head to the pretty village of Franschhoek, staying at a real 'home from home' boutique hotel where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Finally, you end in Cape Town where you stay in a property dating back to the early 1800s but with a bold and quirky style that brings the hotel firmly into the 21st century.

A 3 night stay at Lion Sands Tinga at the start of your trip will completely restore your energy and allow you to truly relax into the holiday mood. With 5,000 hectares of wilderness in this private concession within the world-renowned Kruger National Park, you can go exploring off-road, follow in the footsteps of a leopard, track down a herd of elephant, or simply wait for them to come to you.

Hard as it will be to leave here, you can rest assured that the rest of your trip will still be superb. After the safari you fly down to Port Elizabeth, where you stay for just one night before heading off to the Garden Route. Beautiful coastlines, breathtaking mountains and valleys, tall forests, deep blue lakes and lagoons - these are the reasons why the Garden Route is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa. You will stay in a hideway suite amidst the treetops of an age-old indigenous forest, where you can take a dip in your private plunge pool and be eye-to-eye with the birdlife. Breakfast can be served in the morning sunlight on the spectacular dining deck, suspended above the forest floor.

Your next stop is La Residence in Franschhoek, the heart of the South African Wine Valley. Located on a private 30 acre estate, La Residence is surrounded by vineyards and plum orchards, with a spectacular mountain backdrop - this is a wonderful base from which to explore the landscapes, vineyards and Chef’s tables of South Africa’s Culinary Capital.

Finally, you finish your trip in Cape Town at the Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel. Each of the 15 rooms has been individually decorated, marrying a touch of yesteryear with contemporary chic and bohemian influence. Join fellow guests after sunset for an aperitif and canapés before heading off for dinner to a nearby restaurant along the vibrant Kloof Street.
