This holiday includes stays in the outstanding Liz McGrath Collection - the Cellars-Hohenort in Cape Town, The Marine in Hermanus and The Plettenberg in Plettenberg Bay - 3 iconic hotels that exemplify South Africa hospitality. Ending with a safari also befitting to the same attributes and you have a first-class holiday from start to end.
The Cellars-Hohenort is set within 9 acres of lush gardens in the Cape Town suburb of Constantia. Staying here opens up a wealth of experiences, from garden tours, picnics and bird watching to swimming, cycling, tennis and lawn games - and that is all just at the property itself! If you can tear yourself away, you can explore all that Cape Town has to offer, be it Constantia Wine Valley and Kirstenbosch Gardens, or other attractions such as Table Mountain, Cape Point and the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy all this for 4 glorious nights at the start of your holiday.
Your next 2 nights are in Hermanus. Fondly known as the 'grand old lady', The Marine is one of South Africa’s most spectacular seaside hotels. Located on Hermanus’ famous cliff path, overlooking the breathtaking Walker Bay, the hotel is the ultimate location for whale watching during whale season.
You will then head to the Garden Route and enjoy a few nights at The Plettenberg, a wonderful location from which to explore the beauty of the celebrated Garden Route, or just to spend time relaxing at the peaceful hotel around the rim-flow pools with sea views or enjoying a spa treatment.
Finally, you end your trip with a 3 night safari in the world-famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Your suite at Sabi Sabi Little Bush has a private deck with heated spa bath overlooking the riverbed and surrounding natural bush. Thatched roofs, romantic mosquito nets draped over the comfortable beds and beautiful wooden finishes complete the picture of an exclusive safari getaway. The main guest pool area is perfect for relaxing inbetween game activities and an outdoor boma is a wonderful setting for indulging in the finest safari cuisine.

The Cellars-Hohenort is located in 'Cape Town's Vineyard', the historical Constantia Valley on the breathtaking slopes of Table Mountain. All rooms and suites boast panoramic views of the iconic mountain or over the 9 acres of beautifully manicured gardens. The hotel boasts two award-winning dining experiences, these include Greenhouse, one of South Africa's Top 10 rated restaurants where cuisine focuses on South African ingredients with modern interpretations, and The Conservatory which serves simple, beautiful fare and a selection of what was Liz McGrath's favourite dishes. The relaxing Fresh Wellness Spa, tennis court and much more ensures that Cellars-Hohenort is the result of what was Liz McGrath's more than 20 years of hard work, love and endless inspiration.
