Reminiscent of a bygone era, Sabora Tented Camp dishes up lavish doses of romance, exploration and intrigue.
Sabora is set in the private Grumeti Reserve, within the Serengeti. Thousands of wildebeest surround can surround Sabora from June to middle of August as the great migration passes through the reserve on its journey towards the Mara. The experience here is unlike any other in the Serengeti during this period and it makes for a phenomenal wildlife experience!
As well as twice daily game drives, the lodge also offers horse riding, walking safaris, archery, tennis and bike riding, amongst other activities. Sunrise balloon rides over the Serengeti Plains can also be arranged at an additional cost.
In between all these activities, relax and sip sundowners on the deck and gaze over the waterhole - you never know what you might see.
Your chef delights in creating delicious feasts using locally grown organic produce, coupled with vintage wines, in surprise settings - imagine dining beneath a lamp-lit acacia or under the boughs of a large 'Sausage' tree, with starlit skies and the distant chorus of nocturnal creatures.
Creating the feel of a lavish tent, each canvas cocoon offers opulent luxury complete with antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs and silk curtains.
Each of the 9 luxury tents are air-conditioned, and feature an en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower, dressing area, reading area, viewing deck with a Swarovski spotting scope and a library lounge tent.
The main area of the camp offers a dining room, bar lounge with satellite television, DVD player and library, elevated viewing deck and a swimming pool.
Rates Include
Serengeti National Park fees; Singita wildlife fees; all meals; all drinks (excluding premium wines and French Champagne); return road transfers to the Sasakwa airstrip; twice daily open Land Rover safaris accompanied by an experienced Singita Sabora Tented Camp guide; and a laundry service are included.

General Information For Guests
Each tent has an electronic safe, standing fan, hair dryer, direct dial telephone (US lines) and wireless internet access.
Fun activities such as archery, stargazing safaris, mountain biking and tennis are all available.
The Equestrian Centre is situated adjacent to the neighbouring Sasakwa Lodge and is home to 16 horses. Experienced riders can enjoy out-rides on the Serengeti Plains. Tack is English style and guests have the choice of English or Western saddles.
