Chobe National Park
In the heart of the Chobe National Park, sometimes referred to as the elephant capital of the world, is Savute Elephant Lodge.
Perched on the banks of the Savute Channel, the lodge offers a spectacular birds eye view of elephants in their natural habitat. Savute Elephant Lodge is also a great lodge for bird lovers with over 250 bird species and most native to this area.
Guests can enjoy 2 safari drives per day in different areas of the Savute area, during which you may encounter lions, wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, as well as rare species of animals such as Roan and Sable antelope.
Savute Elephant Lodge hosts a cluster of 12 rooms raised on wooden platforms. Each has an outdoor lounge and is shaded by a traditional thatch roof. The large, private decks are furnished with easy chairs and a hammock - ideal for viewing wildlife, or for enjoying a private dinner in complete privacy.
The luxurious room interior include a 4 poster bed complete with mosquito netting, a lavishly appointed bathroom and dressing room, a fully-stocked minibar and discreet air-conditioning.
