Nairobi Tented Camp Location.
General Information For Guests
Tents are comfortably furnished and each of the tents has either twin beds or a double bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe for hanging your clothes, a writing desk with lamp, and chairs and table on the veranda for relaxing. Each tent also has its own toilet and shower, with hot water heated over a log fire and brought to your shower when you're ready.
Low watt LED lighting in each of the tents runs off rechargeable batteries and solar panels, and for dining, guests can enjoy the romance of candles and lanterns - a truly authentic tented camp experience.
All meals are served on a set menu basis, with a warming hearty breakfast in the morning, light invigorating lunches served under the shade of an olive tree and dinners served under the star filled sky. Ice cold drinks are available from the fully stocked bar in the central mess tent.
Your day in Nairobi Tented Camp starts with a freshly brewed hot drink brought to your tent before setting off on an early morning game drive. After a morning potentially filled with sightings of lion, buffalo and leopard, return to camp for more warming cups of tea and coffee, freshly baked bread and a hearty cooked breakfast. In the afternoon, guests can relax in the lounge area or in the privacy of their own tent. As the day cools it will be time for another game drive. Return to camp for drinks and exchange stories around the campfire before dinner under the vast African star-lit sky, ultimately retreating to the comfort of your bed in your cosy tent.
The camp can also arrange a number of interesting excursions including a visit to the Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum or the Nairobi National Park to name a few. The camp has their own fleet of high-quality minivans with expert driver-guides. Vehicles are on a private-hire basis so you have the flexibility to choose how to spend your time.
