The Serengeti
Guarded by 3 million year old granite towers in the magnificent Serengeti National Park, Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp offers the quintessential African Serengeri safari experience. This elegant tented camp is located on one of the main annual migration corridors for over one million wildebeest, half a million zebras and gazelles and their accompanying cast of predators. The camp also offers close proximity to lions, giraffes, hippos and all of the other fascinating wildlife that inhabits the Park.
The central tented lounge features a stylish bar and a selection of wildwood seating.
Whether you choose to take your meal in the cosy tented dining room, enjoy a BBQ by the campfire or immerse yourself in the majesty of the Serengeti with a bush dinner, the local cuisine and impeccable service will perfectly complement your holiday experience. For those who would prefer to dine in the privacy of their tent, room service is also available.
The 16 canvas tents are widely spaced throughout the rocky glades of the camp. Reached by winding stone paths, each tent stands on a stone platform and has its own thatched roof. Opening off the spacious bedroom is a tented bathroom, which features twin basins, shower and flush WC. The main bedroom area features 2 queensized 4 poster beds, each with all encompassing mosquito nets.
There is also a seating area with stylish lamps and easy chairs. On the spacious private terrace are both safari chairs and sun loungers.
