Maramboi Tented Camp

Maramboi Tented Camp offers endless vistas of rolling golden grasslands, and is situated about 10 minutes from the Tarangire National Park.

Zebra, giraffe, warthogs and gazelles are frequent visitors to the camp. The lounge is built on a raised deck, with comfortable sofas and armchairs and a selection of board games are available. There is also a swimming pool and a separate dining room.

Every evening a fire is lit where guests can relax and enjoy the sunset whilst enjoying a drink, and if the weather is good guests can have dinner outside under the stars.

Private sundowners can be arranged on top of a kopje (small hill) - the perfect place to enjoy the impressive views of Lake Burunge and the Tarangire Park.

The camp has 38 spacious tented rooms, including 6 family rooms, all individually built on a raised deck with en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms have a built-in shower and each tent has its own terrace.

Activities include game drives, bird watching and walks on the shores of the nearby Lake Manyara, and village visits to the local Mbugwe tribe offering an opportunity to learn more about their way of life. You can also visit the cave paintings in Kondoa, which were done over a period of two millenniums.

Rates Include

All meals; mineral water; tea/coffee; and the Wildlife Management Area fees are included. Game drives are taken with your private driver-guide.
