Pumba was just the icing on the cake for us. Our lodge was beautiful. The bath in our room was so large my daughter was swimming in it! Having the fire lit in the evening made it so cosy in the lodge it was difficult to make ourselves leave. We went on 6 game drives and to be honest before we booked we were a little concerned that the children may get bored. How wrong were we! Our ranger, Gladman was just fantastic. We managed to see 4 of the big 5, so we were more than happy. All the little 'Pumba Extras' like hot towels on our return from game drives, lovely snacks in our room and warm ponchos to wear on the drives just made our stay perfect. We hope to be able to return to Pumba one day but until then we will make do with our many photographs and wonderful memories.

But I have to say Pumba is absolutely and utterly outstanding! The service was unbelievable – they did all my laundry with no charge and it was back in 2 hrs! The river lodge and our hut was out of this world, and really, you should definitely recommend it to your clients. It's just an amazing experience and I have never had such fantastic service at any hotel before.

We had the most fantastic time - the safari (Pumba Water Lodge) absolutely rocked. It would be hard to imagine a better place to stay, with friendlier staff and a very chilled atmosphere. The game drives were far better than I imagined and our ranger Chris was brilliant. Thank you so much for your recommendations and hard work (they put on a lovely meal for us on our anniversary and left us champagne and flowers in our room) - it was a treasured holiday and I will be ensuring all future safaris go through Travel Butlers (will be telling my friends to do the same).
C TAYLOR-WILKINSON
The Pumba Water Lodge was wonderful! The room was excellent, the ranger Jonathan was very nice and all the staff so helpful and friendly ... food very nicely cooked, so all in all you can recommend this lodge definately - also for my husband - very easy to walk to the room on the wooden pathway - all in all we would go there again. Thank you Tracey for your excellent service - we will come back to you and will recommend your agency.
S AHRENS
We had a magnificent holiday - all accommodation was excellent but I would specifically comment on Pumba and The Elephant House as we would highly recommend both.
S ROCH
Firstly, you set up a great itinerary... I couldn't have put this all together myself, and am so glad I had your help. Dolphin Dunes (Wilderness) .....wow! Absolutely flawless. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that has had so much thought and effort put into it. I could have stayed there for ever. Even though I didn't get a sea view room, the room I had was superb. Lovely owners. If I come back to SA, staying here would be my top priority. Pumba ...stunning. Fantastic choice. Aloe Guest Lodge (Hermanus) ... lovely. Such a feelgood place, and again, such thought and effort has gone into the design of the rooms and the whole house. Lovely owner.
