Entabeni Safari Conservancy
A true African safari experience awaits you at Wildside Safari Camp, nestled against the cliffs of the Waterberg Mountain in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy.
Less than a 3 hour drive from Johannesburg, guests can enjoy daily game drives and bush walks with qualified rangers.
These game drives offer guests the chance to encounter lion, rhino and roaming elephant. The ever elusive leopard can also be seen if you are lucky and even a fleeting glance is a privilege and definitely a highlight of any safari.
Antelope, zebra and giraffe are also frequently seen.
There are also an amazing variety of birds on the reserve, with as many as 380 species in the summer months.
The rustic and unfenced Wildside Safari Camp consists of 20 en-suite tented chalets, including 4 family tents as well.
Dining in the restaurant is an informal affair, where other guests soon become friends. The Wildside Boma is also used for those special evening meals around the open fire, while the pool area is ideal for light lunches.

From the moment I arrived at camp I was treated with care and kindness and can honestly say its the friendliest place I've ever stayed. For someone travelling on their own I can't recommend it enough. The game drives were incredible and the whole experience amazing.

Wildside Camp was good, we had a lovely lodge and the guides especially Oliver was very good. It was very organised and slick and I have no complaints.

We really liked the camp and thought it good value for money with a can do, customer first attitude. The tents were brilliant and food good too. The safari guide was good and we saw nearly all the animals we wanted. Was fantastic, thank you so much will definitely use Travel Butlers again! Tempted to go back to Wildside as it was awesome and great VALUE!

Jenny the ranger was absolutely fantastic and really made the trip brilliant. Her knowledge on a wide variety of subjects was excellent and she was very personable too. This was my first safari/game park experience but the couple that were there at the same time said that they had never had such a good ranger before and that she was brilliant. The other staff were also great and really friendly. Overall, a thoroughly good experience.

The best part was Entabeni. It far exceeded our expectations and I can not imagine having a better experience game viewing anywhere else. It particularly suited us as it is relatively small and seems much more family friendly than some others. Another family there had just come from Kruger and enjoyed Entabeni much more. We had a fantastic ranger who could not have done more for us and feel, that the more expensive options such as Madikwe would not have been better.
S MAPES
Wildside as wonderful as always. Would not hesitate to use Travel Butlers again. Thank you.
S WEEDON
Very well designed package and exactly as expected. Entabeni was a fantastic recommendation. A lot of the people there were regular safari goers and spoke very highly of their experience as well. The personal service and ability to go off road after the animals was very much appreciated vs Kruger where you have to stick to the roads.
S WINEBERG
Wildside was amazing, loved everything about it, it was not too big so we felt at home and didn't want to leave! The 'tents' were lovely, the situation great, saw loads of animals, James our ranger was brilliant and we met lots of nice people. Staff all lovely and the food was good. Would highly recommend.
