Begin your trip in a city centre location in Cape Town then head to the Timbavati Game Reserve for some exciting Big 5 game drives, staying in an authentic tented camp in a natural wilderness environment.
The Waterfront Village is situated in the heart of the V&A Waterfront. During your stay here, enjoy the major attractions in the city (Table Mountain, Robben Island, township tour, Camps Bay, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens, numerous museums and galleries) and maybe join a guided tour to take you on a day trip down to the Cape Peninsula, including a stop on the way back at Boulders Beach which is home to one of only 2 mainland nesting colonies of African penguins in South Africa.
Then you fly across to the Kruger Park for your safari adventure. Shindzela Tented Safari Camp is situated within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. It is a simple, comfortable and affordable South African bush camp, offering a host of wildlife activities including game drives and walking safaris trails. Each tent has its own deck/porch where you can sit and relax. The camp has an informal, relaxed atmosphere and is alive with warm African hospitality.

Arrive into Cape Town Airport. Go through Immigration, collect your luggage and clear Customs, then make your way into the Arrivals Hall where your driver will be waiting for you, holding a sign board with your name on it. You will then be transferred to the vibrant V&A Waterfront area.
Cape Town is one of the world's most beautiful cities - with a magnificent mountain as its centre, miles of sandy beaches, a colourful and moving history, as well as countless bars and restaurants, Cape Town captures the hearts of visitors.

You will be collected and transferred back to the airport where you will check in for your flight to Kruger's Hoedspruit Airport.

You will be met outside the airport building by your driver and once you have collected your luggage you will then be transferred to the Timbavati Game Reserve.
At Shindzela Tented Camp, enjoy daily game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle with a knowledgeable ranger and expert tracker and fellow guests. The area is home to over 40 mammal species, including Africa's Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant). Other game that you may see whilst on your safari include hyena, jackal, giraffe, hippo, wild dog, zebra, kudu and impala, to mention just a few. Over 350 bird species have been recorded in the reserve too.
Timbavati Game Reserve
After you return from your morning game drive you will have time to enjoy breakfast before you are collected and transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport, arriving in time to check in for your flight to Johannesburg.
