Woodbury Tented Camp was a fantastic experience - the rangers were knowledgable and enthusiastic - thought the drives might get a little boring for my 6 year old son but not at all - they were passionate about their jobs and their enthusiasm was infectious. We had four drives each lasting about three hours - the overall experience was memorable and the kids loved the rustic tents - would really recommend this. Thanks for organising the itinerary, we had a holiday of a lifetime!

We had a fabulous time - what a beautiful country and such friendly people! As far as Amakhala is concerned, it surpassed our expectations. Our ranger was absolutely superb, a young fellow whose job was his vocation. In addition, the camp [Woodbury Tented Lodge] part of the reserve was not particularly busy, so out of our six game drives, my husband and I were the only guests on the land rover with Jaco! On the other two, there were three of us - a ratio almost unbeatable - personal service! And to crown the whole experience, we saw elephant every day - along with just about everything else! It was fantastic and we have hundreds of photos to enjoy. I am so glad I found you and that you gave us such good advice. I shall now complete the survey attached to your e-mail. Many thanks for everything and we will gladly recommend you and Amakhala to anyone.
J MACKENNA
Obviously not as luxurious as the more expensive lodge accommodation, but we thought it [Woodbury Tented Camp] was good value. It was too hot in the tents in the middle of the day (they had air coolers which helped, but not air-con). Otherwise, we thought our care was excellent, we had a very good, knowledgeable and committed ranger, and liked the whole ethos of the game park - very conservation-minded and caring of their animals. It was a fantastic experience and we saw a lot of wildlife.
