Addo Elephant National Park
Woodall Country House lies tucked away on a peaceful citrus farm and offers 5* luxury and standards of service, leaving you unwilling to leave and eager to return.
It is only a 10 minute drive to the world-famous malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park, home to around 400 elephants who roam freely among the 125,000 hectare reserve alongside black rhino, buffalo, kudu and red hartebeest, the extremely elusive and rarely seen leopard, and over 400 bird species. Lions have also been re-introduced to the Park.
Guests can enjoy an early morning or sunset guided game drives through the Park on an open Land Rover. Game viewing tours are guided by highly qualified guides whose passion for the area is inherent and infectious.
During the day, escape the African heat in the full size pool, fringed with palms and a waterfall.
Or take a quiet moment to sit peacefully on the expansive sundowner deck and view rare South African waterfowl.

Woodall Country House and Spa was particularly fine, with wonderful rooms, service and meals. Woodall is excellent value.
A BUTLAND
I thought you might appreciate some feedback on the guesthouses you booked for us last November. Bloomestate in Swellendam is wonderful. The accommodation is first class, very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. Our hosts were charming and attentive and highly professional; they are very nice people. The breakfast was fantastic. You can recommend Bloomestate with complete confidence. Woodhall, near Addo is fabulous. We could have stayed there for ever. You would be pushed to find anywhere better. This was definitely the high spot of our holiday. Thank you so much for looking after us. We will be in touch again - we are hoping to return to South Africa in November
