Voyager Beach Resort is one of Kenya's most popular beach resorts, overlooking the sparkling white soft sands of Nyali Beach just 7 km from Mombasa.

Inspired by the area's rich nautical past, the resort is fashioned along the lines of a luxury cruise ship. It is a hive of activity, hosting daily entertainment programmes, including unique themed 'journeys' across the Seven Seas, culinary extravaganzas, and special music, fashion, comedy and acrobatic shows. 

Guests also have easy access to a huge variety of historical, sporting and cultural attractions, including Africa's largest crocodile farm and the world-famous Haller Park (formerly Bamburi Nature Trail).

The warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean are home to a stunning array of coral gardens and a rich diversity of coral fish in every size, colour and shape imaginable. The Dive Centre has qualified instructors to accompany you on the most fascinating diving sites along the coast. Closer to shore is the Mombasa Marine Park where you can snorkel in the company of the beautiful coral fish or simply watch them through the glass bottom boat.

Other watersports include windsurfing, canoeing and sailboats.

Voyager Beach Resort offers 236 bright and comfortable rooms or 'cabins'. All cabins have a private balcony or terrace, and have complimentary/limited Wi-Fi. The rooms continue to reflect the nautical theme that runs throughout the resort, and are decorated in tones of white and blue with wood furnishings. The Garden Rooms are located near the pools and restaurants, and the Superior Garden View Rooms are set slightly further apart in the landscaped gardens. The Superior Sea View Rooms offer ocean views.

The resort also has a selection of restaurants and bars catering to a wide variety of tastes and appetites, and 3 pools including a whirlpool. The Kids Club is open to children between 4 and 12, and under careful supervision the children can play sports on the beach, enjoy games in the pool and learn about local marine life.

General Information For Guests

All rooms have a private terrace or balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, telephone, complimentary (but limited) Wi-Fi, and a safe.

The resort has a choice of restaurants and bars, 3 swimming pools including a whirlpool, an indoor games area, a sand volleyball court, 2 tennis courts, and a water sports centre. Daily entertainment and family shows are also offered.

Non-motorised water sports available include windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and snorkelling (Marine Park fees for all water sports are payable locally).

There's also a kids' club for younger members (4-12 years) and babysitting services are available (additional cost)

For golfers, there is an 18 hole golf course nearby at the Nyali Golf and Country Club.

Guests will be allowed in the restaurant in any form of casual wear apart from swimsuits during the day. However for dinner, guests are required to dress appropriately and beachwear, sports shorts, sleeveless shirts, bare feet, caps and beach shoes are not accepted.

Day rooms can usually be reserved up to 18:00 for departures in the evening - these are booked upon arrival and subject to availability.  The hotel reserves the right to charge an additional cost, which will be payable directly to the hotel upon check out.

Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards are accepted.

Transfer time from/to Mombasa Airport is approximately 30 minutes.
