Our overnight at the Fernery was a wonderful experience. The location is so beautiful. Even the luxury bathroom has superb views. The food was excellent too. Very special.

Directions For Drivers
From Port Elizabeth/Jeffreys Bay via N2: Continue on the N2 for 4 km after passing Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures and crossing the Kruis River Bridge, and turn left onto the Blue Lilies Bush and Nompumelelo road. Turn right at the T-junction and then left after 50 metres and then right again after a further 50 meters - as per The Fernery and Forest Ferns signs. From here it is 6 km on a well sign-posted gravel road to The Fernery Lodge.
From George/Knysna/Plettenberg Bay via N2: Continue on the N2 for 4 km after crossing the Storms River Bridge and turn right onto the Blue Lilies Bush and Nompumelelo road. Continue south on the Blue Lilies Bush road for 2 km, passing Nompumelelo Village on the right, to a T-junction. Turn right at the T-junction and then left after 50 metres and then right again after a further 50 meters - as per The Fernery and Forest Ferns signs. From here it is 6 km on a well sign-posted gravel road to The Fernery Lodge.

General Information For Guests
Room amenities include a flat screen TV, hair dryer, digital safes, limited DSTV bouquet, a bar fridge (stocked on request), heated towel rails and tea/coffee making facilities.
The main guest lodge has a restaurant and guest lounge, kiddies play area, as well as a swimming pool, 2 jacuzzis and 2 saunas. Free Wi-Fi is available at the bar.
Mountain bikes are available to rent and there are a number of cycling routes through the estate plantations.
Fishing rods can be rented from the reservations office, as well as rowing boats on the dam.
A laundry service is available (additional cost).
