Southern Palms Beach Resort is situated along the beautiful white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean at Diani Beach, 35 km south of Mombasa. This 4* beach resort has a unique blend of traditional Swahili and Arabic architecture set amidst 10 acres of beautiful gardens and coconut palm trees.

The resort has 2 free form swimming pool and a range of activities that can be booked from the help desk. Diving and windsurfing are available and land options include tennis courts or air-conditioned racquet courts.

There are 5 restaurants located at several parts of the hotel and serves a varierty of international cuisines.The resorts main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a different theme every night. Manyatta ' Nyama Choma' (African barbeque) serves meals by pool and La Via Romana, an Italian restaurant is another great dining option. Set next to the ocean this makes for a really pretty setting. The resort also has 5 different bars, including 2 that serve guests in the swimming pool.

The 298 air conditioned rooms (including 2 luxury suites) will ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and feature a locally carved "Pili Pili" 4 poster double bed and a standard size day bed that can convert into a 2nd bed if required for children. Interconnecting rooms are also available. All rooms overlook the swimming pools and gardens. Balconies and verandas are very spacious and have Swahili easy chairs for relaxing in and watching the world go by.
