Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic vistas of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park was created in 1968 to protect the huge flocks of lesser flamingo that breed and nest at the edge of Lake Nakuru, giving it the characteristic pink rim. Lake Nakuru National Park covers 188 square kilometers of land - from lake water, woodland, bush grassland, to rocky ridges. The Park is also home to over 400 species of birds and one of the few places to see the endangered black rhino. Other wildlife at the Park includes lion, leopard, zebra, gazelle, eland, giraffe and the hyrax.

The lodge is cleverly laid out such that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the Lake and the Park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds, and is a natural haven for bird life.

The main restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is also the Rift Valley Bar, which opens out into an amphitheater where traditional dance performances are held each evening. The bar offers spectacular views of the sunset over the lake and hills beyond, andis an ideal place to unwind with sundowner.

The lodge offers 64 standard rooms (of which 14 are interconnecting, making these an ideal choice for families) plus 3 suites. All the chalet style rooms and suites have private patios with panoramic views of the flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru.

The swimming pool adjoins a a wellness tent, where guests can enjoy a soothing massage. There is an activity room which is well stocked with indoor games and other recreation facilities for children, and a Sarova Shop for gifts and souvenirs.
