Manyeleti Game Reserve
Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is set in the 23,000 hectare Manyeleti Game Reserve adjoining Kruger National Park, and offers breathtaking wildlife experiences. There are no fences between the reserve and the neighbouring Kruger, meaning the wildlife can cross freely between the two areas.
The large colourful lounge and dining areas of the camp overlook the green lawns which lead to the swimming pool, and there is also an extensive climate controlled wine cellar and bar. Dining is a communal affair consisting of simple homemade dishes, usually served outdoors at a long table, with log fires and torches to create a really authentic bush feel.
Game frequently sighted in the reserve includes elephant, rhino, lion and hippo. In between meals and game drives, watch the animals and birdlife while relaxing at the pool or observing wildlife from the hide. Alternatively, join a walking safari through the wild, accompanied by an experienced armed ranger - it is a thrilling, exciting and unforgettable experience seeing the animals on foot.
Guests are taken on game drives in open game viewing vehicles in the early morning and late afternoon/evening. Late afternoon and evening drives include sunset drinks with views over the Mohwareng Hills, and glimpses of nocturnal creatures picked out in your ranger's spotlight as you drive slowly back to camp.
The 15 large tents are comfortably furnished in a contemporary style. Each tent has either a kingsize bed which can be converted into twin beds on request, and a large sized day bed. The tents are en-suite with double showers, his and hers basins and a separate toilet. The doors and window flaps roll down at night giving you complete privacy.
