Summary Of The Route and Costs
A 10 night itinerary taking you from the ultimate safari destination to the ultimate beach getaway.
You begin with 3 nights in the Masai Mara, staying at Karen Blixen Camp, an eco-friendly luxury camp that gives a sense of the exciting explorer days of yesteryear. Overlooking the famous Mara River, sit back and relax with a gin and tonic and watch the wildlife come to drink, in between thrilling game drives in the private Mara North Conservancy or bush walks. Balloon safaris (at an additional cost) will take you high above the impressive Masai Mara plains, and gliding quietly through the wind is truly a magical and breathtaking experience.
Then it's off to the beach for 7 nights. Kinondo Kwetu is situated at the far end of the remote Galu Beach, south of Diani beach. The nearest hotel is 2 km away and therefore the beach is very private. Kinondo Kwetu is the ideal place for simply doing nothing at all, or if you are more active you can enjoy a wide range of different activities including peaceful yoga, horse riding along the beach and water sports galore.

Arrive into Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
You will be met once you disembark from the plane and assisted through Immigration (including help if required with visa application and processing), luggage collection and Customs (luggage screening).
You will then be accompanied to meet up with your transfer vehicle and transferred to the nearby Wilson Airport.
Safarilink 01 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) departing at 10:00 to Mara North Airstrip, arriving at 11:00
You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your safari camp, arriving in time for lunch. Karen Blixen Camp is situated on the Mara River, where elephants frequently come to drink and the resident hippo pod entertain guests with their antics. Over the next few days, go out on early morning game drives, afternoon game drives, full day game drives and thrilling night game drives within the Mara North Conservancy. No more than six guests in each game vehicle assure the most comfortable experience with attention given to every visitor's wildlife interest. Game walking with guides can also be arranged for those who wish to experience the magnitude of the Mara savannah on foot.
Masai Mara
After breakfast you will be transferred back to the airstrip where you will board your flight back to Nairobi.
Safarilink 002 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Masai Mara Airstrip departing at 11:00 to Wilson Airport (WIL), arriving at 12:20
You will be met and assisted with the connection onto your flight to the coast.
Safarilink 55 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) departing at 14:00 to Diani Airport, arriving at 15:15
You will be met and transferred to Kinondo Kwetu.
Kinondo Kwetu is often described as a 'home away from home' - a paradise for those wanting a more personal experience on the Kenyan coast. Located on a tranquil private beach on a 16 acre plot south of Diani Beach, distanced from residential neighbours by rocky cliffs and endless beach, Kinondo Kwetu is classified as a 'Kaya' area (protected by the National Museum) due to its surrounding holy forests and sacred land.
The Kenyan Coast
You will be collected and transferred back to the airstrip.
Safarilink 56 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Diani Airport departing at 15:30 to Wilson Airport (WIL), arriving at 17:10
You will be met and transferred to the nearby Ole Sereni Hotel for dinner (own account), followed by a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport where you will then check in for your flight home.
