Live out the adventure of a lifetime as close to nature as you can get. Combine staying at comfortable but still luxurious mobile safari tents with en-suite bathrooms at secluded campsites in the game-rich Chobe National Park and Savute region, followed by a 3 night stay in the UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Okavango Delta.
You begin with 2 nights literally 'under canvas' in the heart of the Chobe National Park. Green shadows on the walls of your tent and the sweet fragrance of morning dew on bush vegetation welcome each new day, and steaming hot water in your en-suite bathroom’s bucket shower refreshes and revitalises you. Crisp linens and a spacious double bed welcome you after a long day filled with discovery.
Then you fly further into the Chobe to explore the unique and haunting Savute landscape, with its enigmatic Savute Channel. Staying under canvas again for 2 nights, Savute is particularly well known for its high concentration of lion, as well as for its dramatic predator interactions. The region is also rich in antelope, with common species such as impala and kudu encountered alongside giants such as the eland.
Finally, you end with 3 nights in the Delta, where you can experience the freedom and exhilaration of the Okavango Delta at AndBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp, situated in a private concession. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Delta water lily, Xaranna is a delightful camp with just 9 sleek en-suite safari tents that combine canvas and bleached timber, accented with shades of soft lily pink and olive green. Each tent has a romantic sala, private plunge pool, indoor bathtub and al fresco shower - all boasting sweeping Delta views. Game viewing here remote and secluded, with very few vehicles sharing the private concession. Sensitive off-road driving practices allow guests to get up close to the area's exceptional wildlife. Afternoon drives continue after night, allowing for an opportunity to see the many animals that are more active at night, including leopard and serval. Lion frequently hunt at night and there is always a chance of coming upon them feeding on a kill.
