Luxury Tanzania Safari and Beach Holiday

Summary Of The Route and Costs

This 12 night itinerary is ideal for anyone travelling between July and October. You will enjoy an adventure to Tanzania's magnificent landscapes, iconic Parks and game-rich conservancies where you will encounter the migrating wildebeest and zebra in their millions. Staying at a selection of elite properties, you will enjoy the comforts of personalised service, luxurious accommodations and an authentic African safari experience, all the while being transported in supreme comfort aboard a 9 seater Executive class light aircraft caravan.

You begin your unforgettable holiday with a brief one-night stay in Arusha, allowing you to relax and get into the holiday mood after the international flight.

Then you fly to Tarangire National Park, staying 2 nights in a treetop room elevated above the ground affording views over the tops of surrounding marula and baobab trees. Tarangire is the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania, and is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the Park can also expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to waterbuck, giraffe and olive baboons, and over 550 bird species.

The Ngorongoro Crater is your next stop for 2 nights. The crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some 2 to 3 million years ago is a natural enclosure for a very wide variety of wildlife, including a resident population of Ngorongoro lions, as well as wildebeest, buffalo, zebra and rhino.

It is then time for the undisputed highlight of your safari experience. By July-August time, the migrating wildebeest and zebra are spread across the far Northern Serengeti plains, now into the final stages of their Tanzania journey. Across the globe authors and filmmakers have come to document this annual migration of hundreds of thousands of animals, but there is still only one way to understand and experience the true magnificence of this natural phenomena and that is to be part of it for 2 nights.

Finally, it is time for some relaxation at the beach. A few short hours later after 2 short flights, you will be checking into your private pavilion-style villa on the north-east coast of Zanzibar. If you dream of a private, intimate and barefoot beach stay, then this is it.
