An Unrivalled Botswana Safari

Summary Of The Route and Costs

This is the way to see Botswana in true style. Over 10 nights, you'll enjoy the marvellous Victoria Falls as well as spectacular wildlife viewing on both land and water, while the luxuries of the carefully chosen camps round off the entire holiday experience.

First, you'll visit the incredible Victoria Falls, staying in the exclusive Toka Leya. The camp’s expansive main area has gorgeous views of the majestic river and its wildlife, even from the rim-flow pool. A World Heritage Site, Victoria Falls straddles the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and is the most expansive curtain of water in the world. View its roaring waters, spectacular spray and a small rainforest that clings to the Falls’ edge, with a variety of mammals and birds. A tour on the Zambian side is included in your stay; the view from the Zimbabwean side is at extra cost.

Next, you'll fly to Kings Pool Camp which overlooks the oxbow-shaped King's Pool Lagoon and Linyanti River system. Activities include day and night game drives and walks. Two game viewing hides add to the safari experience in the dry season - one of which is an underground hide, with the water at eye-level, offering an extraordinary experience with feet and trunks almost within touching distance while you are safely inside.

Then you will fly to one of Botswana's prime game viewing areas in the Delta - the Moremi Game Reserve. Go in search of the wildlife in daily game drives from the luxurious Mombo Camp, or enjoy the views from your stunning tent over the floodplains. Lion sightings are particularly good and guests may also see leopard, large herds of buffalo, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, hyena, giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Black and white rhino have been reintroduced to the area with outstanding success.

Finally, you'll fly onto another pristine Delta wilderness, where you can look forward to the highest standards of luxury at Jao Camp. One of the signature design features at this last camp is the marvellous bird's nest-styled pool gazebo on the edge of the water - the perfect spot for guests to unwind and soak in the glorious views. Untamed and unfenced, the game viewing here is also spectacular.
