Lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo as well as other species such as kudu, zebra, warthog, giraffe and monkey to name a few are spotted regularly. Bird viewing is spectacular, with over 360 recorded species including various eagles, vultures, kingfishers, woodpeckers, buzzards, herons, egrets, owls and weavers.

Kick back and relax on a sun lounger with a good book, and just take time out to fully recharge your batteries, so you are ready and refreshed to face 'normal life' at home again! Carana Beach Hotel has established a new category of boutique Seychelles accommodation, with modern twists on traditional island architecture, contemporary ocean-themed decor and a home-grown culture of genuine Seychelles hospitality.
