Directions For Drivers
From Durban: Take the N2 south following signs to South Coast resorts and Port Shepstone. Continue on the N2 past the Durban International Airport continuing to follow the Port Shepstone signs. Remain on the N2 South. At the Oribi Toll Plaza, continue straight on the N2. Follow the signs to Port Edward. After Port Edward continue on the R61 for 5.2 km to the Wild Coast Sun turn off, which is 400m after crossing the Umtamvuna River on the left.
From Johannesburg: From central Gauteng, take the N3 following the signs to Durban. Remain on the N3 for the majority of the journey. On reaching the greater Durban area, follow the signs to the South Coast, this will lead you directly onto the N2 South Coast freeway.
From Umtata/Eastern Cape : Follow the N2 north from Umtata towards Bizana. Continue on the N2 until the turn-off to Bizana. The turn-off is shortly after Mount Ayliff and this route continues on to the Wild Coast Sun.
General Information For Guests
The Wild Coast Sun has an extensive and fine range of facilities.
Land-based sports are centered on the Wild Coast Sun's double-storey Sport Centre close to the main hotel. There is also the vast natural playground of the Indian Ocean, and different activities are catered for at Waterworld.
Children's entertainment is primarily based in the Aloha Village.
