About 700m from the lodge there is Muyuni Beach - one of the last undeveloped and unspoiled beaches of Zanzibar. This beach can be reached on foot (during low tide), by bike, boat (high tide) or car - the lodge provides free transfers to the beach all day long. The transfer takes around 10 minutes by boat or car.

Diving here offers you a stunning underwater world with schools of tropical reef fish, turtles, dolphins, and beautiful hard and soft coral formations. Dive Point Zanzibar is a small and friendly PADI dive center situated at Sunshine Marine Lodge, who offer daily diving and snorkelling trips to Mnemba and north-east coast reefs. Dive trips include beginner dives for those wishing to discover scuba diving as well as a wide range of PADI diving courses.

The main lodge has a swimming pool and nicely arranged areas with sun beds or hammocks, ideal for sunbathing or reading a book in a shade of an umbrella. The restaurant and bar serve a wide variety of delicious fresh food and drinks.

The Deluxe Suites either have ocean views or garden views. The Ocean Front Suites have a beautiful view of the ocean from their private veranda, and the Garden Suites are surrounded by lush nature.

The Family Suites either have ocean views or garden views and can accommodate up to 4 people (either 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children).
