The Serengeti
In the heart of the Serengeti National Park, in a pristine area that offers unparalleled game viewing, lies Serengeti Wilderness Camp. Open all year round and located to the east of the famous Central Seronera region, if you are looking for an intimate safari experience, without compromising on comfort, then this is the camp for you.
The incredibly rich wildlife is supported by a network of rivers that make up the Seronera Valley, where battles between prey and predator play out all year-round, and at certain times of the year the camp’s location is in the path of the incredible spectacle that is the great migration.
Aside from game drives, walking safaris may be undertaken, and for those that want an experience they’ll never forget, a hot air balloon safari is the way to go.
The camp has 10 tents offering traditional ‘under canvas’ accommodation. Every tent boasts a shady veranda, where guests can relax and soak up their surroundings, and with a comfy bed and quality linen, feelings of camping will soon disappear.
The central dining area boasts a well-stocked bar and cosy campfire area, allowing guests to relax and share their stories, whilst enjoying a couple of sundowners as the light fades on the Serengeti’s sun-soaked plains.
