Etosha National Park
Onguma Forest Lodge (formerly Onguma Etosha Aoba Lodge) is situated on the 34,000 hectare Onguma Game Reserve, adjacent to the Etosha National Park.
Originally part of the greater Etosha Game Reserve, Onguma Game Reserve is one of Namibia’s best kept secrets. Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher’s pan, it has so much to offer visitors.
This is nature and leisure at it's best - where you can participate in any of the memorable activities on offer here or just relax in a pleasant bush atmosphere.
There is a swimming pool and a thatched bar, lounge and guest dining area that overlooks a small active waterhole. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
There are 11 well-appointed rooms located along the dry Omuramba Owambo riverbed. Three secluded thatched Explorer Bungalows include en-suite facilities, air-conditioning and boast a private patio. The Honeymoon Suite has the same features as the Explorer Bungalows but includes an outdoor shower and bath.The 4 Heritage Bungalows offer privacy and all the comforts for a pleasant stay.
Finally, for families, there are 3 Bush Suites which include 2 bedrooms, one with a sleeper couch and the second with twin beds. An inter-leading bathroom separates the rooms.

Children aged 7 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 10 are not allowed on open Game Drive Vehicles
Bush Walks / Walking Safaris
Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted on bush walks. The final decision on whether a guest can join a bush walk remains with the guide and lodge manager.

Directions For Drivers
Onguma Forest Camp was formerly known as Onguma Etosha Aoba Lodge, and you may see signs using both names.
From Windhoek: Drive North on the B1. Go through Okahandja, Otjiwarongo, and Tsumeb, and continue to follow the B1 until you get to the turning for the C38. Turn left here onto the C38 (towards Namutoni) and the entrance to the lodge is on the right-hand side.
From the Etosha National Park: Drive through the Von Lindequist Gate onto the C38, and the entrance to the lodge is about 15 km down the road on the left-hand side.
General Information For Guests
Onguma Forest Camp was formerly known as Onguma Etosha Aoba Lodge, and you may see signs using both names.
All the rooms are en-suite and have air conditioning, a private terrace, mosquito nets, mini bar, in-room safe, and tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryers are available at reception.
The lodge consists of a thatched dining area, lounge, wine cellar, bar and a swimming pool, all of which overlook a waterhole.
Activities that are available at the lodge include game drives, bush walks (advanced booking advised), sundowner drives and excursions to the Onkolo hide (additional cost).
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the lodge.
