The Serengeti
Ole Serai Kogatende is strategically located within the northern area of the famous Serengeti National Park and is set in one of the prime areas for those wishing to follow the path of the Great Migration. The great spectacle of this world-famous migration can be witnessed practically on the camp's very own 'doorstep' since the site lies along one of the main migratory routes which the wildebeest use when going to and from the Serengeti into and out of Kenya's Masai Mara.
A large number of predators are attracted to the area during the migration but the area is also home to wildlife that reside here year round due to the permanent water supply nearby.
There are 14 tents in total, including both double and twin tents and an inter-connected family unit. Each tent has a private veranda and viewing deck with uninterrupted panoramic views. The en-suite bathrooms have flushing toilets and pressurised running showers with a 24 hour power supply.
The main guest area consists of a bar and a spacious dining tent.
Evenings can be enjoyed at the campfire, swapping stories of the day’s adventures, sipping cocktails or having meals at the boma, where the background music is a blend of nature’s unique sounds, interrupted only by the ever impressive lion roar.
