Machaba Camp

The camp has 9 authentic white canvas tents in total, which are spacious and luxuriously furnished, incorporating original safari antiques. As the concession is outside the main Masai Mara Reserve, guided walks and night drives are allowed on the concession and are highly recommended.

Pom Pom Camp is located on Pom Pom Island, and offers superb scenery and a true wilderness experience. Morning and evening game drives will give you the opportunity to view all the big game and night life of this environment. There are 8 luxury safari tents positioned under the shade of the surrounding trees plus a family safari tent.

The camp offers 10 luxury safari room tents - each with its own en-suite bathroom and indoor bucket shower. There is also a small sitting area in front of each tent where early morning coffee and biscuits can be enjoyed before starting your day of incredible game viewing.

Your accommodation is in wildly exotic wooden bandas, looking out across the soft sand beach, with interiors fashioned from old seasoned dhow timber and decorated with style and panache.
