General Information For Guests
All suites have outdoor terraces or balconies and have a kingsize bed. They also have air conditioning, ceiling fans, an en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower and separate WC, tea/coffee making facilities, a TV and telephone, a minibar (refilled daily), a room safe and a hair dryer.
Located on the ground, first, and second floors, the beach hut-style Junior Suites are 60 square meters in size have a terrace area with a day be. The Wellness Junior Suites are the same size but also have wellness amenities cush as a yoga mat, exercise blocks, a complimentary coaching session at the gym, and discounts at the spa.
The Poolview Junior Suites are also 60 square meters close to the pool and the Beachview Junior Suites (same size) have views of Belle Mare's beach.
The Grand Lux Suite is 240 square meters penthouse style accommodation. The Lux Suites are 90 square meters have a swing bed overlooking the beach. The Ocean Suites are also 90 square meters with a day bed on the terrace.
The Junior/Poolview/Beachview/Grand Lux Suites can all sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 teenagers/children.
The Wellness Junior Suite and the Ocean Suites can only sleep 2 adults.
There is a choice of restaurants and bars, and an ice cream parlour. Guests are asked to wear a cover up over swimwear at the daytime restuarants, and in the evening the dress code is 'island chic' and gentlemen must wear trousers. 24 hour room service is also available (additional cost).
There is complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the resort.
The hotel has one of the largest swimming pools of Mauritius (2,000 square meters) which is open from 09:00 until 18:00 and is supervised during open hours. There is a separate area for children - children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. There is also a spa and fitness room/gym and bicycles can be hired (additional cost).
Thee are tennis courts and guests are requested to wear sports attire while on court - no jeans and shirts are allowed and proper sports shoes are required - so no flip flops, bare feet or evening dress shoes.
Complimentary water sports include windsurfing, pedal boat, kayaking, aqua gym, mini sails, snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips, water skiing, stand up paddle, hobbie cat and wake boarding. Water sports incurring an additional charge include scuba diving, speedboat ride, big game fishing, kite surfing (nearby), tube rides, catamaran trips and private water skiing.
The hotel is disabled friendly and some rooms are especially equipped for wheelchair users and less mobile guests.
There is a Studio 17 club for teenagers aged 12 to 17 years, which is open between 10:00 and 22:00; a club for children aged 3 to 11 years old (same opening times) and a toddler and babies club for children up to 3 years accompanied by an adult. A babysitting service can be arranged (additional cost and requires 24 hours notice).
