Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge is a natural heritage site set set within an Endangered Species Protected Area in the magnificent Manyoni Private Game Reserve, located between Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves, and within easy reach of Kosi Bay, Sodwana, Lake Sibaya and the St Lucia Wetlands.
Enjoy total peace and tranquility and warm friendly hospitality at the exceptionally beautiful lodge which has the most spectacular views in Zululand from the river meandering below to the distant Lebombo Mountains.
Leopard Mountain game drives will take you through unspoilt bushveld, stocked with elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, nyala, kudu, warthog, ostrich and other antelope. The area is also renowned for its birdlife.
Other activities also offered (at an additional cost) are trips into the nearby Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves, river and lake boat cruises, tiger fishing on Lake Jozini, cultural village visits, horse riding, snorkelling and diving at Sodwana, and quad biking.
After an active day, enjoy sundowners in the boma around the fire in the evening and watch the sunset while the sky changes from blue to pink, yellow and then black strewn with millions of stars. Try counting satellites or make a wish on a shooting star and then enjoy a delicious meal while listening to the night sounds of the bush.
The luxury accommodation is in 8 well-appointed stone and thatch en-suite luxury suites, nestled in the clifftops overlooking the river. Each suite has its own private deck with a hammock and private plunge pool, offering incredible views.
