Mana Pools
Located within a private concession, Kanga Camp is set within a pristine and undeveloped area of Mana Pools, giving you a pure and unspoilt African safari experience. The camp is set next to Kanga Pan, the only known water source in the area available throughout the year, making it a busy hub for wildlife.
Accompanied by a professional guide who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, guests will have choice of morning and afternoon game drives, or for a change of pace, a walking safari.
Game drives in this game rich region are always full of surprises and include sightings of wild dog and the ever elusive leopard. During the dry season, game drives are often not needed as the game comes straight to the pan in front of the camp!
Walking safaris in Mana Pools are truly special. Discover all that the bush has to offer, from learning about the flora of the region to tracking lions on foot. It's one of the closest things you can do to being in the complete wilderness.
The camp comprises of 6 tents that are raised on a wooden platform, giving an elevated view over the Kanga Pan. In addition, 2 of the tents are family/honeymoon tents with their own private dining and seating area.
The main guest area at Kanga has a comfortable lounge and dining area offering you uninterrupted views of the pan, a perfect spot for an armchair safari. Relax in the upper deck lounge under the shade of a mahogany, or sit on the deck below near the splash pool.
The camp is open from the beginning April until the end of November.
