Directions For Drivers
Directions from King Shaka International Airport: Take the N2 South on the Toll Road, towards Durban, then turn off at the Umdloti/ Verulam off-ramp. Take the UMDLOTI exit, left toward the coastline on the M27 and follow the road straight down in Umdloti. Follow the roundabout to the right onto South Beach Road (sea/beach on left handside). Fairlight is approximately 1 km down South Beach Road, situated on the corner of South Beach Road and Margaret Bacon Avenue.
Directions from Hluhluwe Town via N2: Take the N2 heading south towards Durban. Continue past Richards Bay and King Shaka International Airport, and then turn off at the Umdloti/ Verulam off-ramp. Take the UMDLOTI exit, left toward the coastline on the M27 and follow the directions above.
General Information For Guests
All rooms and the apartment have air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, flatscreen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and an in-room safe.
There is a swimming pool at the property which is open between 05:00 and 23:00. The pool area is gated and protected by a safety net. If the net is on, simply speak to the manager and they will arrange its removal. Children under the age of 12 are welcome to swim but need adult supervision at all times.
Fairlight’s famous ‘full house’ breakfast is served from the poolside deck from 07:00 until 09:30. Please make sure you discuss any special dietary requirements with the manager well in advance. If you are departing early, please let the manager know (the day before) and they will prepare a breakfast pack for you to take away or enjoy in your room.
The senior duty managers are on site between 07:00 and 16:00 every day. For travel assistance, cabs, transfers or guidance on where to go and what to do, please drop in at Reception where you will find many a brochure, tourist information and a manager on hand to help.
If you would like to extend your check out with a late check out, please discuss with the duty manager 24 hours prior to departure. A room surcharge applies and is available on request and payable directly to the guest house. This arrangement is strictly based on availability.
