Directions For Drivers
From Cape Town (via N1): Drive out of Cape Town on the N1 past the Belville and Brackenfell turn-offs. Continue past the Winelands 1-Stop Engen petrol station, and then leave the N1 and turn right onto the R304 heading towards Stellenbosch. Follow the road for approximately 15 km to Stellenbosch. At the second set of traffic lights (there is a Motors Garage on your right and Friendly Grocer on the left), turn left onto the R44. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Helshoogte Road (R310). You are now on the Helshoogte Pass. Continue up the Helshoogte Pass for approximately 6 km, turn right into Delaire Graff Estate gates and follow the directions to the parking area.
From Cape Town (via N2): Drive out of Cape Town on the N2, and take the first Stellenbosch turn-off (Baden Powell Drive/R310) and keep on travelling to Stellenbosch. You will eventually pass the Spier Wine Estate (on your right) and a few kilometres after that, the road will end at a T-junction (approximately 13 km from the N2 turn-off). Turn right at the T-junction and travel into Stellenbosch.
You will pass over 3 traffic lights - keep to your left. The road ends at a T-junction at which you turn left. Pass over 3 traffic lights and shortly after the 3rd set, turn right at a set of lights at the Franschhoek/Idas Valley sign. This road will take you over the mountain on the Helshoogte Pass. Continue up this road for 6 km, turn right into Delaire Graff Estate gates and follow the directions to the parking area.
From Hermanus/The Garden Route: Follow the N2 to Somerset West/Strand area. Exit the N2 and turn right onto the R44 and continue driving towards Stellenbosch. Once you are in Stellenbosch, continue straight and merge onto the R310. Pass over 3 traffic lights and shortly after the 3rd set, turn right at a set of lights at the Franschhoek/Idas Valley sign, continue up the Helshoogte Pass and follow the directions above.
From Franschhoek: Leave Franschhoek on the R45, and after about 10 minutes, turn left onto the R310 towards Stellenbosch. Drive past Boschendal and Pniel, before continuing for 11 km on the Helshoogte Pass. Continue past the Zorgvliet Estate on the right hand side. After you have passed the Tokara winery on the right, turn left into the Delaire Graff Estate and follow the directions to the parking area.
General Information For Guests
The lodges/villa are all en-suite with marble bathrooms, showers, baths and a separate WC. They also have a living room, a private terrace, a heated plunge pool, minibar, Nespresso coffee, flat screen television, air conditioning, a Bose personal music station, in-room safe, a hairdryer and a telephone.
The estate facilities include 2 award winning restaurants, a spa, 4 boutiques, swimming pool, viewing terrace, private art collection, wine tasting/wine lounge, walking/trail runs and a techno gym.
The wine lounge is open daily from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30 (last seating at 17:00). On Sundays, the last seating will be at 16:30.
Indochine Restaurant serves lunch from 12:30 to 14:15, and dinner from 18:30 to 21:00.
The Delaire Graff Restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 till 14:15. It also serves dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 18:30 till 21:00.
Activities that are available include cycling, hiking, wine tasting, visiting the galleries around the estate, and visits to the nearby town of Stellenbosch.
Equestrian experiences can also be arranged (additional cost).
There are a number of superb golf courses in the area, including the Erinval Golf Club, Pearl Valley Golf Estate and De Zalze Golf Club (additional cost).
The Delaire Graff Spa offers a range of different treatments and massages (additional cost). It is open daily from 09:00 to 19:00.
Delaire Graff Estate is home to 4 flagship stores; Graff Diamonds, 100% Capri Linen, VANA and Africa Nova.
