Chobe Water Villas is situated in the 150 square km Namibian Kasika Conservancy directly on the banks of the Chobe River and opposite the renowned Chobe National Park in Botswana. This location affordsand over the world-renowned Sedudu Island.
The arrival experience itself is unique as the only access is by a 15 minute leisurely safari boat transfer from Kasane in Botswana cruising across the Chobe River amongst hippo, elephant, buffalo and crocodile. Upon arrival a cool scented face towel and a warm and genuine Namibian welcome awaits you.
During your stay here, guests can enjoy 2 activities per day, inlcluding open 4x4 game drive safaris into the Chobe National Park and safari boat cruises along the banks of the Chobe River. In between activities, guests can relax around the infinity pool, or enjoy cultural village tours or fishing trips.
Chobe Water Villas nestles under magnificent shady acacia trees and exclusively plays host to a maximum of only 32 guests in its uniquely positioned 16 luxurious Water Villas. Perched on stilts over or at the water’s edge, the villas all feature a guaranteed 180 degree unobstructed view of the Chobe River and the Chobe National Park as well as the world renowned Sedudu Island.
Each villa also features an open plan lounge and bedroom area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which fold back completely along the entire width of the room and lead onto a front terrace facing the Chobe River with sun-loungers. A rear terrace facing the natural bush and spectacular sunsets.

General Information For Guests
PLEASE NOTE: This lodge is situated on the Namibian side of the Chobe River, not the Botswana side. You will be taken to the Kasane Immigration Office in Botswana, and a Chobe Water Villas staff member will help with luggage as well as formalities at passport control as you exit Botswana. You will then be transferred by motorised boat to the Namibian Immigration Office on Impalila Island, where you will get your passport stamped and you have now officially entered Namibia. You are advised to wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen as there is a short walk to the Immigration Office. You will then be transferred by boat to the lodge. PLEASE NOTE: Some nationalities do not require a visa to enter Namibia. Other nationalities require a visa BUT ONLY certain nationalities can obtain a Namibia visa at Impalila Island so please check the Namibian Visa Information for further details to find out more about which nationalities this applies to, otherwise you will need to arrange your visa prior to travel.
