Okavango Delta
Camp Okuti is situated in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve in the remote north-eastern part of the Okavango Delta, and nestles in the shade of large, beautiful old trees and overlooks the Xakanaxa Lagoon.
Experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles, allowing unhindered views for game viewing and photography as they seat only 4 people.
Moremi is rich in wildlife and game viewing is consistent year round, ideal for repeat and first-time visitors to Botswana.
Elephants are abundant in the area, particularly during the dry season, as well as a variety of general game including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal and antelope. Wild dog are also regularly seen in the reserve.
In addition to game drives you can explore the delta waterways by motorboat. From open lagoons to winding channels, it is a birder's paradise, especially for herons and storks in the breeding season. Hippos and crocodiles can also regularly be seen from the motorboat.
The lodge is very family friendly. There are 5 standard rooms, plus 2 family rooms which each have 2 bedrooms, allowing for families/friends to stay together. All the accommodation is en-suite with indoor and outdoor showers, hot and cold running water and flush toilet. The rooms are set on raised decks and all have views of the river.
The honeymoon unit features a double bed, indoor and outdoor shower along with a bath tub.
The lodge also has an open-air boma, ideal for dinners around the campfire.
There is also a small swimming pool. Other facilities at the camp include a lounge, a library and full bar facilities.
