Set on 6.5 acres, Bloomestate balances a crisp, clean decor and contemporary architecture with open and natural spaces. A deck by the dam, a secluded jacuzzi, a saltwater pool, strategically-placed hammocks, a pampering day spa - every element of the guest house has been crafted to create a soothing and natural experience.

Bright and spacious, the 6 luxury garden rooms have a spacious bathroom with underfloor heating, a bath and a walk-in shower, and French doors opening onto a private patio with unobstructed views over garden and mountains. The extra large beds feature alpaca throws and high quality linen.

In addition, the Red Cloud room is perfect for a special occasion. The bed, bathroom and sitting area are all kingsize allowing for additional space.

To help sustain both the estate and the surrounding natural beauty, the guest house strives to use as many locally-made or Fair Trade products as possible. They serve local fruits and organic veg, use energy-efficient lighting, and scrub with earth-friendly cleaning products. The hot water is solar- heated and the waste is composted.

From Cape Town: Follow the N2. When you approach Swellendam, take the Swellendam-West exit (R60). After 800m you will come to a 4-way-stop. Turn right into Voortrek Street. Bloomestate is almost immediately on the right-hand side.

General Information For Guests
