The Frangipani spa in Baraza is an oasis featuring its own lap pool with underwater music, indoor and outdoor relaxation rooms, the Sultans bath-our signature treatment for two as well as a yoga center, fitness center and tennis court.

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome.

The Baraza Kids Club is fully equipped with a variety of toys, games and activities perfect for the kids, open during certain hours of the day. The kids club is not supervised and children are welcome to use the kids club if at least one parent or guardian is accompanying them.

During the months of July, August and the December Christmas Period, there is a Kids Club supervisor who organizes activities for the children during specific hours (during this time only potty-trained children from the age of 4-12 can be left in the care of the supervisor).

Please note: the shallow depth kids club pool can be used under the parent’s supervision only.

Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The villas have en-suite bathrooms with a freestanding bathtub, walk in dressing room, living room, TV, DVD Player, Sultan’s Lounge Bed, safe, a mini bar area with tea/coffee making facilities, large terrace, 2 sun loungers and a plunge pool.

The hotel facilities include a gift shop, library, PADI Dive Center, swimming pool, gym, fitness centre, spa and tennis courts.

There is a water club that has a wide range of water sports on offer (additional charge).

The Frangipani spa offers a variety of treatments and therapies. It also has it's own lap pool with underwater music, indoor, outdoor relaxation rooms and the Sultans bath which is a signature treatment for 2 (additional cost).

Baraza Resort offers 4 restaurants and 2 bars. Afternoon tea is also served daily from 14:00 to 17:30. Room service is available.

Tanzania has a large Muslim population on the island of Zanzibar. Modesty of dress is expected when outside the hotel's grounds. Trousers are entirely acceptable, but short skirts and bare arms should be avoided. Scarves must be worn over the head (and shoes removed) when entering a mosque.
