You begin by experiencing a Kruger safari at nThambo Tree Camp, staying in unique accommodation in the heart of the Klaserie Game Reserve, which shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park. A small and intimate camp, the 5chalets are raised on wooden stilts, offering a different perspective from the private balconies of the African plains and small waterhole in front of the camp, as well as the Drakensberg mountain range in the distance. During your 3 nights here, you will take part in daily morning and afternoon Big Five game drive safaris. Maybe you may see the elusive leopard - who knows! When you depart from your safari camp, you are transferred to the small village of Hazyview where you will overnight at Hippo Hollow. Upon arrival at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport, you will need to clear Customs and Immigration, collect your luggage, and then make your way to the Domestic Departure Terminal and check in for your flight across to the Kruger Park.

You will be met in the airport building by your driver, and once you have collected your luggage you will be transferred to the Klaserie Game Reserve.
At nThambo, every day begins and ends with a game drive through this vibrant part of the Southern Klaserie Game Reserve, while the camp offers open views onto an active waterhole and all the animals that use it. Leopard and lion, Africa's biggest cats, prowl the bushveld and their calls can be heard in the night when you are falling asleep. Other wildlife you may encounter on game drives include elephant, rhino, buffalo, impala, kudu, zebra, giraffe, steenbok, duiker, mongoose, baboon, vervet monkey, hippo, warthog, and many others. Guests can also arrange to be take on a bush walk after breakfast, allowing you to track animals on foot - and a great way to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Africa.
After you return from your morning game drive, you will have time to enjoy breakfast before you are collected and transferred to Hazyview where you can relax for the rest of the day.
Hippo Hollow Country Estate is situated outside Hazyview on the Sabie River between the Drakensberg Mountains to the west and the low-lying bushveld to the west. The hotel has an 'Out of Africa' feel about it, and leaves you feeling totally relaxed and refreshed.
After an early breakfast, you will be collected and transferred to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, arriving in time to check in for your domestic flight back to Johannesburg.
After you return from your morning game drive, you will have time to enjoy breakfast at the lodge before you are collected and transferred back to the airport, arriving in time to check in for your flight to Johannesburg (please note: check in for domestic flights is one hour prior to the flight departure).

Go through Immigration, collect your luggage and clear Customs, then make your way into the Arrivals Hall. Here, you will be met by our representative in Mauritius and welcomed to the island, and then transferred to your hotel.
