This 2 night Delta stay is an affordable Delta experience that suits the adventurous traveller or those just wishing to get away from it all.
Oddballs' Camp is situated on the edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Your accommodation for the 2 nights consists of simple domed tents erected on raised wooden platforms, overlooking the floodplains and bush. All tents have a rustic en-suite bathroom.
The camp offers guided safaris on foot and mokoro excursions (water level dependant) with your own professional game guide. No motorized activities are offered at all here, and the emphasis here is on a quiet, slow, and intensely personal experience of the African bush.
Guests usually go out in the early morning, returning for a late breakfast, and venture out again in the afternoon after the midday heat has dissipated. Should you wish to go out for the whole day, the camp would be happy to pack you a picnic lunch.
