Intimate, private and secluded, yet only a short distance south from Mombasa Island on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya, Tijara Beach is an exclusive private resort hosting not more than 8 people. On 5 acres of manicured gardens there are only 4 cottages with a luxurious bathroom and an expansive private deck overlooking the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.

The fresh water swimming pool offers a great way to refresh or you can simply laze on your sun-bed listening to the roar of the ocean, reading your book while sipping on a cocktail prepared to your taste! If you want to spend a day at the pool and feel lazy, all your meals can be taken under the beautiful shady flamboyant tree which will hide you from the midday sun.
