The Indian Ocean that surrounds Pemba features some of the best snorkelling and diving sites in the world, with shallow coral lagoons dropping off to spectacular depths which support a vast range of marine life. It is nothing short of breathtaking and attracts diving enthusiasts from all around the world. Other water activities include stand up paddle boarding, or for those wanting to stay on firm land, you can rent cycles to explore the small island and local areas.
