Overlooking a lagoon, and based in the exclusive Qorokwe Concession that borders the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, Qorokwe Camp combines a contemporary style with a classic bush feel.
The concession comprises over 26,000 hectares of various habitats from scattered acacia woodland with herds of giraffe, zebra and various plains game, to pristine floodplains home to curious red lechwe and gnarled buffalo. In addition, there is a local lion pride comprising some 15 members and elephant are a regular feature here. The birdlife at Qorokwe is excellent and varies throughout the year. Species include the African hawk-eagle, ground hornbill, scarlet-chested sunbird, red-billed hornbill, and Gabar goshawk to name a few.
With permanent water all year round, there is often outstanding game viewing during each season. Float down a crystal clear waterway in a mokoro, head off on game drives in the day and night or explore the more distant waterways by boat.
For the more adventurous, why not set off on a walking safari. Accompanied by skilled guides, guests will have the exciting opportunity of coming across big game on foot as well as observing the smaller things that are often missed when travelling by vehicle.
Qorokwe has 8 elegant tented suites, with en-suite facilities that include indoor and outdoor showers, plus one very spacious family tent with its own splash pool.
The magnificent main area is the focal point of the camp and all the suites are connected to this by wooden walkways. The main guests areas include a dining area, lounge, library and bar, plus an infinity pool with expansive views of the Delta.

General Information For Guests
Each tent features an indoor shower and bath with double vanity basins. They also have private viewing decks, an outdoor seating area, indoor lounge, mosquito nets, electronic safe, hairdryer, multi-plug adapter with USB points and tea/coffee making facilities. The tents do not have air conditioning however each room has ceiling and pedestal fans. During the winter months hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided.
The camp consists of a dining, lounge and bar areas, a fire pit, infinity pool, relaxation areas (including hanging baskets), a library, curio shop and traditional boma.
Please be aware, the Wi-Fi connection can sometimes be slow/intermittent. Should any problems be experienced with connection to the network, please speak to a camp manager who will assist.
Activities available at Qorokwe Camp include day and night game drives, boat safaris, guided nature walks, mokoro excursions and bird watching.
Helicopter trips can be arranged (additional cost).
In-room massages can also be arranged, subject to the availability of a therapist (additional cost).
A complimentary laundry service is available.
